We are serious about being sure that these great dogs find
great homes. We do home checks, background checks and
one on one interviews. We're not saying that you have to be
married or financially well off. We remember what it was like
having our first dogs. We are looking for adopters who will
be committed to loving and caring for these dogs for the rest
of their lives.

Our relationship with you does not end when the adoption
process is completed. We know that issues can arise once
your dog is home with you, and we are here to help with
behavior and training problems. Often, we can give you an
easy to manage protocol to work with your dog to assure
that you stay on track.

We are committed to placing great dogs in great homes, and
to making appropriate matches. If you do not see an
available dog, please fill out an application anyway. We have
connections with many shelters and rescues and it's likely
that we can find a dog who will be the right match for you
and your family. All dogs are spayed or neutered,
microchipped and up to date on shots.

Remember, adopting a Pit Bull is a lifetime commitment. Not
every family needs a Pit Bull, but every Pit Bull needs a family.

Otto
Otto was a stray who ended up at a rural shelter, where
he lived for more than 6 months. The ladies there took
great care of him, but were happy to let him go when
one of our volunteers stepped up to foster him.

Otto just moved into his foster home and is on a training
program that will help him grow into the well mannered
gentleman we know he can be. We suspect that his
previous owners did not treat him well, but sweet Otto
does not hold a grudge against people at all. He is just
as loving as can be. His foster mom describes him as
"Super smart with the sweetest soul."

We think Otto is about 2 years old. He is neutered and
up to date on his shots. He is looking for an active home
that will have the time to give him the exercise needed
for a young dog. Otto knows basic commands, is house
trained, and walks very nicely on a leash. He is learning
more and more each day, as his foster mom teaches him
using clicker training.

As with all of our bullies, an application and home check
must be completed prior to adoption.

Coleman
Coleman is just a big lug. He has the build of a short Pit/Lab
mix and a personality to match. Coleman is a sweet, silly,
affectionate dog who is looking for an active new home.
Coleman's current owner is being called to serve our country
in the military.

Coleman is a year old and is still puppyish. He knows basic
commands and is very motivated to work for a treat. Like all
young dogs he is excitable, but he responds very well to
verbal cues (especially if there's a cookie or a toy in it for him!)

Coleman's current owners have two cats, one of them is
playful with Coleman, the other one he does not get along
with. Coleman also is very social with other dogs.

His family is continuing to work on training with him. He is
housetrained, crate trained and does well in the car. He does
need work on leash manners, his current owners are using a
head collar to walk him.

Not only did Coleman do well on our temperament evaluation,
but he was very playful and affectionate with us. He's a bit of
a ladies man.

As with all Pits, Coleman will do best in an active home. He is
used to an owner who gives him structure and leadership as
well. If you're looking for an amazing, friendly, smart, active
companion, please consider Coleman!

Sol
Sol is a diamond in the rough. He has had a tough life,
and has been waiting over a year for his forever home.
Just a warning, adopting Sol means he will give you
unending adoration... so if you are ready to be the
greatest thing since sliced bread, look no further! Sol
looks to have a deep ebony coat, but when he is in the
sun you see it also has beautiful mahogany highlights. He
is quite handsome and has an adorable and very
expressive face.

Sol is learning to sit for anything and everything. He is
also doing excellent learning down, loose leash walking,
drop it and stay. Sol gently takes treats from people. He is
pretty food motivated so he is a dream to train. Of course,
whoever takes this delightful boy home, will have to
continue with his education, since a well trained Pit Bull
make for a happy dog and owner!

Sol is the typical Pit Bull: versatile, people loving and
happy go lucky. He passed his temperament test with
flying colors. This 4 year old Pit Bull gets along with most
other dogs and cats. He does have a bit of a tennis ball
obsession, but hey, we all have our vices, right? If you
feel that Sol would be a good match for you please

Mako
Mako is a sweet Pit Bull looking for a foster or forever
home. He is one year old, neutered, microchipped and up
to date on vaccinations.

Mako is an adorable brindle boy with white feet and
chest. He also has a cute stripe on his face. But the most
adorable thing about Mako is his fun loving attitude. He
greets new people with enthusiasm and kisses. He will
surely bond quickly to the family lucky enough to adopt
him.

Since he was a pup, Mako has been raised around cats
and other dogs. If he were to go to a home with another
dog, she would need to match his energy level and play
style. He would also be fine as an only dog.

One thing missing from Mako's life is training. When we
evaluated him, we quickly saw how smart he is. He is
happy to work for a treat and a play session. With the
structure and consistency that all dogs his age need,
Mako has an incredible amount of potential.

Mako will be your exercise buddy in the morning, and your
couch cuddling movie date at night. Who could ask for
more! If you are looking for a smart, handsome, energetic
dog, please consider meeting Mako.

Pollyann
Pollyann is one lucky dog. Her angels found her chained up in a room
with two unaltered males. Her living conditions were inhumane to say
the least. Her rescuers paid a high ransom to convince her former owner
to let her go, and we are so thankful that they did. On the day that she
was rescued, Pollyann was dirty, severely underweight and pregnant.
Almost all of the hair around her neck had fallen out from the thick heavy
collar she was forced to wear. Pollyann is now spayed, vaccinated and
making a quick comeback. She's come a long way in just a few short
weeks.

Pollyann passed our temperament evaluation with flying colors. She is
everything a Pit Bull is meant to be. She loves every person she meets.
She has the typical "wigglebutt" that we love to see in bully breeds. At 1
year old she is somewhat immature for her age. With socialization and
manners training, she has all the potential in the world.

We are realistic about Pollyann when it comes to other dogs. We doubt
she has ever had any healthy exposure to other dogs, this is something
we will continue to work on with her. Because of this, breed experience
and knowledge is a must for potential adopters.

You may notice from her photos that she is proof that good things can
come in small packages. Miss Pollyann weighs in at just 26lbs, we can't
help but call her Polly Pocket!

Pollyann is currently living at a kennel in Elizabeth. We are looking for a
kennel or experienced foster in the North Hills or Cranberry area so that
we can work with her on a regular basis. If you foster or own a kennel
and are willing to donate or give us a great deal on a space for her,
please contact us at hello@hellobully.com

Application, home check and references are required.
